A Letter from the Owner
Dear customers,
I started my business in 1999. It was a huge risk. But, after working in the retail loss prevention profession for many years; I was saw no room for growth. I loved my job but the politics took away the enjoyment. At the same time; I was house painting in Kansas City for a local company. I enjoyed seeing first hand; home owners’ expressions brighten after I applied a fresh coat of house paint to their home. It was from that satisfaction that I decided to start my own house painting company.
I want to be here for the long haul and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make my customers satisfied. I don’t want to paint for someone just once. I want to be their painter for life. I enjoy what I do. But, I truly enjoy interacting with my customers. I get to meet the most wonderful people from all walks of life. The building of relationships is what drives me the most. I have had customers from my first year of business that I still work with today. That alone is the most pleasing part of my business.
I feel that I bring more to the table than just painting. It takes someone with honesty, integrity, dependability, as well as experience to deliver a great product. We pride ourselves in being neat, clean, and well prepared. We want your next painting experience to be as minimally intrusive as possible. We have done our job; if we can make you feel we aren’t there.
I have always said that I want to change people's opinions of house painters, one customer at a time. It is really easy to have a gap in what you expect to have done and what the contractor thinks he is going to do. I pride myself in knowing what pitfalls lie ahead and how to bridge them.
Communication is the key. As in every relationship; I have been happily married to my soul-mate Mindy since 1996. She has been equally responsible for the success of Zagar Contracting. Without her constant love and support I would be lost. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful children with whom we adore.
My mission is to have a reputable and successful business. We believe pride has a lot to do with that mission. I hope that in choosing your next painting partner that you would give Zagar Contracting a chance.
Sincerely,
Joe Zagar
